Felt like having some picture of my favorite alternative rock group Interpol up on my blog. Only a couple of years ago, I'd call them my favorite local alternative rock group. Not anymore.

Paul Banks (center stage) plays rhythm guitar and lead vocals, writes most of the band's lyrics. He's also considered the most mysterious of all the four members. Unlike usual lead vocalists, he rarely speaks onstage. Doesn't talk personal off stage either, making him difficult for fans to do google on. Carlos Dengler (right) plays bass. He's the most intriguing looking one - likes to dress up like nazi and wears a holster on his shoulder all the time. Interestingly, he doesn't really consider himself as a bass player - he studied music (theory) and according to one of his peer, whenever the other members are lost and not making any sense, he'd pull things together and will make it make sense.

Daniel Kessler Interpol's lead guitarist and sings backup. He's credited with starting the band in 1998 while studying at New York University.

Interpol on the run. Sounds kinda ironic, ha?

So far, Interpol has released two CDs. Their debut was Turn on the Bright Lights, which was released in 2002. Their sophomore release, Antics came out last year.
