Star Sighting
I saw Denzel Washington the other day, coming out of this Broadway theatre on 44th street. He was signing autographs to people waiting in the line, to see his Broadway performance in Julius Caesar. I stood among the small group of people for a bit, standing only a few feet away and watch him sign away autographs to his fans whose demographic ranged from rich white kids from upper east side (sporting trendy clothing, and gears) to elder black women from Harlem and all other verities of New Yorker in-between (although the lack of foreigner-looking tourists was noticeable, knowing how they otherwise flood the city in and out everyday!)
He looked like any other regular man you’d see in the streets, wearing a pair of worn-out snickers, blue jeans pant, a black jacket that and a baseball hat. Except, when he turned around (to let his fans take picture with this elderly lady) and smiled! That unmistakable bright grin, much to my amazement I realized that his big smile was flashier than the actual camera flashes that were going off constantly around him...
